Bastien Lucas

Born and raised in France, my passion for wine started with my experience at the early age of 14, for a summer job at Château Lynch-Bages.

I then earned my M.Sc. Enology degree from the winemaking school of Bordeaux in France. During my studies, I was fortunate enough to secure internships and work harvests at both Alpha Omega in Napa and Monteverro in Tuscany, under Jean Hoefliger's tutelage.

In 2015, I returned to Alpha Omega and became Assistant Winemaker in 2017. Position I grew with and was part of the release of a 100pt wine, until arriving to Maxville Winery in 2020.
